FreeCAD is a parameter 3D model, based on a general purpose feature for CAD, MCAD, CAx, CAE and PLM, directly targeting mechanical engineering and product design but also in line with more use of use in engineering, such as architecture or other engineering majors. It is 100% open source code and extremely modular, allowing very advanced expansion and custom.
