Immediately after OpenAI announced the appearance of GPT-4, Microsoft’s Vice President Yusuf Mehdi confirmed on Twitter that their Bing Chat AI chatbot is indeed running on GPT-4. Previously, Microsoft only said that Bing Chat was using its own Prometheus model and “OpenAI’s new next-generation large language model.”
In addition to its text input capabilities, GPT-4 is also expected to have improved performance in other areas of natural language processing, such as language translation, sentiment analysis, and question-answering. This could lead to advancements in fields such as customer service, where chatbots can provide more accurate and helpful responses to customers.
